I Dare You to Accept something today you are resisting, blaming someone else for or resigned to. Letting go of how you think it should be is freeing and opens you up to a new and potentially exciting outcome.
I Dare You to find Compassion for someone who hurt you. Remember, they have been hurt as well.
I Dare You to live Courageously and to take a risk. Life was meant to be lived as an adventure.
I Dare You to Forgive today. Picture anger and love on a seesaw, one on each side. As anger comes down, love rises. Choose love and enjoy the ride.
I Dare You to be out-of-the-ordinary Kind to all those that serve you today: the cashier, server, janitor. Watch your life shift as you shift theirs.
I Dare You to be bold with your Love today and tell someone (or more than one) you love them. Maybe someone who hasn’t heard it from you in a while. Why hold back on the most precious thing you could ever give?
I Dare You to live with Passion. No one else on the planet ever will be able to do what you can do, as you would do it. Never before and never again can it happen, just as you would make it happen.
I Dare You to be Present to everyone today. Appreciate something about them as they speak and listen from the heart.
I Dare You to be Peaceful. Living in peaceful ways will naturally bring peace to you, your family and all those you come in contact with.
A change of heart, changes everything. I Dare You.
These are all wonderful things to do — on a daily basis. These are the kind of dares that are good for us, as well as for those around us. Love this list!
Thanks for acknowledging my article! I always appreciate your wisdom, Dr. D! Be well!
I agree with everything that you Dare us to do and I would like to add that
I Dare You to get out of your own way. Step back, take a deep breath and allow the positive energy and abundant blessings to enter your life and make you a happier, healthier person more than ever before.
What a GR8 addition to the list, Pamela! Thanks for your reminder and positive message. My best coming your way!
Bonnie, today I take your dare, and simply say I DARE TO BE ME! It won’t always be a perfect, pretty picture, but it will be authentic, with a servant’s heart and more grace for others, than I usually give myself.
You continue to make a HUGE difference in the world, Rhonda. Just keep doing and being who you are. That’s enough and we’re all GR8ful for you!
to love the world as the Lord God loves you.
Thanks for taking a moment to acknowledge my blog, dear Linda!
I Dare You to get out of your own way. Step back, take a deep breath and allow the positive energy and abundant blessings to enter your life and make you a happier, healthier person more than ever before.
I love this! I’m going to print it and hang it in my office.
We all need reminders every now and them. Thank you for the privilege of reminding you how to be YOUR best! May health follow you!
I shall take the dare! It’s great to stretch out of our comfort zones every single day!
Thanks for taking a moment to share with me! Moving to FL and leaving the wonderful life I’ve had in Atlanta was a HUGE stretch of comfort. So, believe me – I get it!
The one that resonated most with me this morning is:
I Dare You to be Present to everyone today. Appreciate something about them as they speak and listen from the heart.
EVERYONE loves to feel important. You know when someone is listening to you or not. I have personally had instances where I knew the person wasn’t really listening to me. It is demeaning and leaves a lasting impression. I’d rather conduct business, and life in general, with someone that makes me feel important.
Being present and really listening are keys to development strong, enduring relationships AND having a positive impact on others. Thank you for YOUR insight, Kim
I love this. Well said. Something to think about everyday.
What a wonderful way to connect with others. We take for granted all the individuals who support our journey every single day – cleaners, servers, bankers, at the gym, in the grocery store, etc. A moment of kindness can mean so much to someone else. Love what you posted, Kim!
